Poway City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE TREATED WATER FACILITIES & REDUNDANT PIPELINE PROJECT, identified under Solicitation ID: Project No. WTR0028, RFP No. 26-009. Work is to be performed near 13325 Civic Center Dr, Poway, CA 92064, USA in San Diego County.
General Project Description
The City of Poway is seeking qualified Consultants to provide professional construction management (CM) services for the Treated Water Facilities & Redundant Pipeline Project. This project involves the construction of significant water infrastructure, including installing approximately 5,300 feet of 20" to 36" CML&C steel pipe, multiple vaults with valves/flowmeters, site grading, CMU security fencing, concrete driveways, an offsite detention basin, demolition of an existing booster station, installation of a new 24 CFS / 88-ft TDH booster pump station within an architecturally designed CMU building, electrical and instrumentation upgrades, and a 350,000-gallon above-grade welded steel forebay tank. It also includes improvements to existing aqua ammonia feed and new sodium hypochlorite storage/feed facilities, along with all incidental work. The CM services encompass project management, pre-bidding document review, bid review assistance, extensive construction management and inspection (including on-site daily observation, materials testing, labor compliance, cost management, change order management, liaison with agencies, safety audits), and construction closeout tasks such as punchlists, record drawings review, and pre-warranty inspection. The primary purpose is to facilitate the delivery of treated water from the San Diego County Water Authority (SDCWA) to the City or from the City to the Ramona Municipal Water District (RMWD).
