General Project Description

This project involves congestion mitigation and sand fence installation. The scope includes furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals. Key work items consist of widening the north side of Ramon Road (approx. 3,800 L.F.) from Los Alamos Road to Bob Hope Drive, constructing curb and gutter, asphalt paving to join existing pavement, building a dedicated right turn lane for southbound Bob Hope Drive turning onto westbound Ramon Road, and installing two rows of 4-foot high sand fencing along 3,800 feet of Ramon Road and 2,500 feet of the north side of Dinah Shore Drive between Bob Hope Drive and Key Largo Avenue. Additional work includes temporary traffic control, clearing and grubbing, dust control, various pavement construction and removal, concrete work, drainage improvements, water valve adjustments, bus shelter relocation, signing, striping, traffic signal modification, and fiber optic conduit and pull box installation.
