General Project Description

This project, the Sidewalk Management Program, involves the repair and replacement of deficient high-priority sidewalk segments identified in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes' 2022 Sidewalk Condition Assessment. The Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, and materials for removing and replacing damaged concrete, addressing site-specific utility conflicts, and restoring adjacent improvements, ensuring compliance with ADA accessibility standards for safe, durable, and accessible pedestrian pathways. The work also includes incidental removal and reconstruction of asphalt concrete pavement, concrete curb and gutter, root pruning, tree protection, temporary traffic control measures, grading, compaction testing, and material testing, as well as adherence to C&D materials recycling requirements.
