General Project Description

This project involves furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and incidental work to replace a section of city-owned storm drain and appurtenant structures at the intersection of Hawthorne Blvd. and Indian Valley Rd. The scope includes installing storm drain pipe, catch basins, a manhole, and pavement restoration, with work to be performed in strict conformance with contract documents and regulatory permits. The project also requires demolition and removal of existing corrugated metal storm drain pipe and soil, backfill, trench base paving, and grinding/final paving of asphalt concrete. Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs) are required to prevent water pollution.
