General Project Description

This public works project involves the installation of new American With Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant curb ramps within Zone 1a in the vicinity of Melinda Road between City Limit and 241 Hwy in Rancho Santa Margarita. The scope includes mobilization, traffic control, implementation of best management practices (BMPs), removal and replacement of existing curb ramps, removal and replacement of existing sidewalks adjacent to curb ramps, furnishing and replacing pull boxes, and all other incidental work. The project is funded by a Community Development Grant (CDBG) and requires strict adherence to federal and state labor laws, environmental regulations (including a Water Pollution Control Plan), and Section 3 compliance for equal employment opportunities.
