General Project Description

This project involves the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidentals necessary for the provision and installation of an access control system and the replacement of mechanical locks with a new Medeco Lock system at all doors within Building D at Santa Ana College. The work must comply with all contract documents and code requirements, including selective demolition, concrete work (forming, reinforcing, cast-in-place, grouting), metal railings, miscellaneous rough carpentry, firestopping for penetrations and joints, installation of hollow metal doors and associated hardware, non-structural metal framing, gypsum board systems, interior and exterior painting, room-identification panel signage, low-voltage electrical systems (conductors, cables, hangers, supports, raceways, boxes, identification), and electronic safety and security systems.
