General Project Description
This project involves constructing a free-standing, open-sided shade structure at Santa Ana College's Building K. The extensive scope includes general construction, site preparation (selective demolition, excavation, grading), concrete work for foundations and flatwork, structural steel erection for the canopy, and miscellaneous rough carpentry for elements like wall coping and blocking. Thermal and moisture protection involves sheet metal flashing, trim, and joint sealants. Finishing work includes Portland cement plastering and painting.
