General Project Description

The project involves providing street striping and pavement marking services to the City of Redding on an as-needed basis across various streets. The scope includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for the placement and/or removal of street striping (center lines, lane lines, edge lines, parking space lines/tees, bicycle lane lines, legends, arrows, and crosswalks) and pavement markings. The contract period is for one year, from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026, with potential annual extensions for two additional years through December 31, 2028. Work includes both new application and refreshing of thermoplastic markings, as well as removal of existing strips, pavement markers, and reflectors using methods like grinding, bead blasting, or wet sandblasting. Contractor is also responsible for a Quality Control Program and Lead Compliance Plan for handling lead chromate in yellow thermoplastic removal.
