General Project Description

The City of Redding seeks a qualified vendor to establish a contract for hauling recycled glass materials. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, labor, and services to transport various types of crushed and color-sorted glass (mixed, clear/flint, green, brown) from the City of Redding to designated processing vendor locations: Strategic Materials at 299 Beck Avenue, Fairfield, CA, and Strategic Materials at 5850 88th Street, Sacramento, CA. The City generates approximately 250 tons of crushed glass annually. The contractor must follow unloading instructions, obtain weight tickets, and coordinate pickups with City staff.
