General Project Description

The City of Redlands Municipal Utilities and Engineering Department is soliciting bids for On-Call Sewer Collection System Repair & Construction Services. This will result in an annual purchase order for fiscal year 2025/2026 with optional extensions for Water & Wastewater Facilities Maintenance, Parts, Supplies, and Related Materials. The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and material necessary for sewer collection system repair and construction, such as manhole ring and cover repair/replacement, uncovering and raising manholes, repairing/installing manhole benches, shafts, and cones, and performing sewer bypass operations. It also involves spot repairs and full replacements of various diameter sewer lines (4" to 48" SDR-35 PVC, Ductile Iron, Vitrified Clay, Asbestos Coated, Epoxy Lined and Coated Steel, and Reinforced Concrete) at depths of 3'-8' and 8'-15'. The contractor must be able to conduct traffic control, comply with CAL-OSHA standards, respond to emergency call-outs within 2 hours, and perform within the City's Standard Drawings and Sanitary Sewer Systems Standard Specifications.
