General Project Description

The City of Redwood City is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide on-call, as-needed traffic data collection professional services for improving traffic conditions. The scope of work includes performing directional 3-day and 7-day speed and volume counts, as well as turning movement counts using video, which also incorporate pedestrian and bicycle counts per crosswalk and turning movement, respectively. Collected data is required to identify peak hours, peak hour rates, and various speed metrics, and must be submitted in clear, legible PDF and manipulable source formats (e.g., CSV or XLS) following quality assurance protocols.
