General Project Description
The City of Redwood City is soliciting bids from qualified pest control companies to provide rodent and cockroach control services across its sanitary sewers and creeks. The project's purpose is to manage vector populations within public infrastructure. The scope comprises three main programs: a Sewer Rodent Control Program (inspection and rebaiting of sanitary sewer manholes with paraffin bait blocks), a Sewer Cockroach Control Program (inspection and insecticide application using NIBOR-D dust and Roach Tablets in sanitary sewer manholes), and a Creek Rodent Control Program (installation, inspection, replacement, and removal of protective bait stations holding paraffin bait blocks along natural drainage creeks, the Port of Redwood City, and the Marina areas). The contractor is responsible for furnishing all necessary labor, tools, equipment, and materials.
