Riverside County Transportation Department is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Highway 74 and Mountain Avenue Traffic Signal and Safety Lighting Project, identified under Solicitation ID: D2-0116. Work is to be performed near 3525 14th St, Riverside, CA 92501, USA in Riverside County.

General Project Description

This project involves the installation of a new traffic signal and safety lighting system at the T-intersection of Highway 74 and Mountain Avenue in the Community of Good Hope. Key work includes minor widening of Highway 74 to accommodate a 12-foot right turn lane and an 8-foot shoulder, regrading two driveways, and constructing a 25-foot long concrete retaining wall to protect a utility pole. A drainage inlet will be removed and converted to a manhole. New ADA compliant concrete curb ramps and sidewalks will be installed, along with hot mix asphalt (HMA) dikes. The scope also covers the relocation and installation of roadside signs, slope/embankment reconstruction, utility adjustments, roadway excavation, structural concrete, bar reinforcing steel, cold planing asphalt concrete pavement, hot mix asphalt placement, traffic striping, pavement markings, and various miscellaneous tasks.
