General Project Description

The City of Roseville is soliciting proposals for the replacement of three end-of-life rooftop Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) units (MAU-7, AC-3, & AC-6) at the Placer SPCA facility. The project aims to enhance energy efficiency, ensure proper ventilation, and maintain optimal temperature and air quality for animal health and staff comfort. The core scope involves the removal, disposal, and installation of new rooftop HVAC units, including specific requirements for indirect cooling, supplemental inline heat, balancing exhaust, verification and installation of structural support elements, and curb adjustments for all three units. Additionally, an alternate bid item includes the procurement and installation of a roof access ladder with a security gate.
