General Project Description

This Request for Quotation (RFQ) solicits bids for 12kV padmount Vacuum Fault Interrupter (VFI) switches to establish an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity purchase contract. The City of Roseville will procure these switches on an as-needed basis via purchase orders. The required equipment consists of liquid-insulated, three-phase, 60Hz, fully deadfront, padmounted load interrupting and vacuum fault interrupting assemblies with a maximum continuous rating of 600A, designed for underground distribution systems. The comprehensive specifications cover construction materials (AISI type 304 stainless steel), electrical components (load interrupters, fault interrupters, copper bus, overcurrent relays, SCADA interface), dielectric insulation (FR3 oil), bushings (ANSI/IEEE Std. 386 & C119.2 compliant), and paint finish (Munsell 7GY 3.29/1.5 Padmount Green) with required performance tests.
