Sacramento Area Sewer District is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, ACC -1 RTP I/O SUBSYSTEM REPLACEMENT PROJECT, identified under Solicitation ID: 9158. Work is to be performed near 8521 Laguna Station Rd, Elk Grove, CA 95758, USA in Sacramento County.

General Project Description

The Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) is seeking a consulting firm to provide engineering services for the planning, design, and construction support required to replace an existing Real-Time Products (RTP) Input/Output (I/O) subsystem and remove associated process equipment local controls in Area Control Center -1 (ACC -1) at the EchoWater Resource Recovery Facility. The project includes pre-design services for equipment familiarization and existing system review, design services for developing detailed drawings and specifications for temporary and permanent Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) panels, active hands-on construction support for wiring de-termination and re-termination, and comprehensive project management. The scope specifically involves replacing antiquated 1970's era RTP I/O and 1980's local controls with Rockwell ControlLogix PLCs, updating existing drawings, and developing cut-over plans for continuous plant operations.
