General Project Description

The project involves the procurement and installation of a complete, operational Digital Watchdog security camera surveillance system at a 3-building complex. The scope includes installing 34 new Digital Watchdog (DW) cameras, associated mounts, conduit, and cabling. It also requires running new underground-rated fiber cabling between buildings using existing 2" conduit, converting fiber to CAT6 cabling with fiber termination blocks in electrical rooms, and running CAT6 cabling from new POE switches to cameras. Surface-mounted EMT conduit will be used on building exteriors for second-floor camera installations. A new Network Video Recorder (NVR) with monitor, keyboard, and mouse will be installed, and client software will be provided for 24/7 viewing and 30-day video retention. Contractor is responsible for all cabling, mounting, and finish work for a watertight and workmanlike completion, ensuring a fully operational system with a 2-year warranty.

Quantity: 1 Unit: EA Work Item: Mounting of POE switch (Cisco CBS350 -48FP -4G). Specifications: To wall using a wall mounted rack, consult owner prior to placement.
