Sacramento County is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, (RFP) - RCCC CAMPUS ELECTRIFICATION PLAN, CC-080161-00, identified under Solicitation ID: 2025-PURB RFP-0054. Work is to be performed near 12500 Bruceville Rd, Elk Grove, CA 95757, USA in Sacramento County.

General Project Description

The County of Sacramento is soliciting proposals for a pre-design Campus Electrification Plan for the Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center (RCCC). The project's primary goal is to develop a plan for replacing aging HVAC infrastructure by transitioning from natural gas fuel sources to electrification alternatives, in compliance with the 2022 California Mechanical Code, Chapter 11, and the County's Climate Action Plan for carbon reduction by 2045. The scope includes reviewing existing conditions, developing a prioritized implementation plan for new hydronic chilled water plants, air source chiller/heater units, and electrical service upgrades, as well as recommendations for domestic hot water, lighting, and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. The consultant will produce a comprehensive final report with cost estimates in CSI master format and required pre-design documents.
