General Project Description

This project involves the refurbishment of Air Handling Units (AHUs) in the Old Administration Building. The work includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and services for the replacement of existing air handlers at the fourth floor of the Sacramento County Administration building at 827 7th Street. Components (such as coils, fans, and duct plenums) will be removed and replaced in sections to facilitate work without crane rental, utilizing existing stairwells or the building's core elevator. The HVAC controls system will be fully replaced, and duct cleaning is included. The project also encompasses asbestos abatement, new building HVAC controls, incidental electrical work, and fire alarm system modifications to support the overall refurbishment.
