General Project Description

The County of Sacramento is soliciting proposals for on-call environmental construction consulting services. The selected consultant will provide support for engineering design, biological and environmental pre-design/pre-construction surveys, permitting support, geological logging, and well design services during construction. This includes assistance with construction, improvement, or destruction projects related to environmental remediation and monitoring facilities at sites operated by the Department of Waste Management and Recycling, specifically Kiefer Landfill, Elk Grove Landfill, and Grand Island Landfill. Work involves groundwater and extraction well support, contaminated water treatment facility support, and additional construction support for corrective actions or facility replacement, including PFAS and LFG control/treatment.

This includes pre-design, design, and construction-related support.
