General Project Description

This project involves furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and incidental work for on-call pavement restoration and crack repair within Sacramento County, including specific areas in the City of Elk Grove and Rancho Cordova. The work encompasses grinding, removal of temporary asphalt patches and damaged pavement, compaction of aggregate base, placement and compaction of hot mix asphalt concrete, asphalt sealing, covering Underground Service Alert (USA) markings, removing and reinstalling concrete pavers, cleaning and sealing cracks, locating, adjusting, and/or replacing utility boxes to finished grade, and replacing damaged street markings and necessary traffic control. The contractor will be utilized on an "on-call" basis, typically handling 10-20 repair sites per month.
