General Project Description

The County of Sacramento is soliciting proposals for professional and technical engineering services for the Wilton Area Roadway Resiliency Project. The project aims to develop a Resilience Improvement Plan and prepare 30% design plans and estimates to address severe flooding and wildfires that have damaged community roadways and closed evacuation routes. The scope includes project management, developing a comprehensive Roadway Resiliency Plan focusing on climate impacts and improvements (such as low-cost multi-modal facilities, nature-based solutions, drainage improvements, culvert upsizing, and raising evacuation route profiles), preparing preliminary (30%) design plans (conceptual plan sheets), and providing a preliminary engineer's construction cost estimate.
