General Project Description
The project involves the repair and rehabilitation of the Freeport Bridge deck. Scope of work includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment for bridge painting, repair of broken welds in the superstructure, repairing loose joint armor, and retrofitting the pin/roller system. Traffic control and all other work specified in the plans and specifications are also required. The project specifically addresses damage to deck welds, pins, rollers, and joint armor identified during a routine bridge inspection. A Water Pollution Control Plan (WPCP) and Lead Compliance Plan are also required with associated site management.
