General Project Description
The County of Sacramento is seeking contractors to provide bio-hazardous waste cleanup and disposal services on an as-needed basis for various departments including Sac DOT, Sheriff's Department, and Regional Parks. The scope includes trauma scene cleanup, sharp needle recovery, mold remediation, sewage remediation, water damage restoration, mitigation of blood spills, removal of animal parts, cleanup of drug labs and paraphernalia, hazardous materials categorization, and cleanup of materials associated with homeless camps (including human waste). The services also involve biological hazard mitigation and remediation for materials and medical supplies like hypodermic needles. Contractors must have 24/7 on-site response within two hours. Services for specific facilities like Sacramento County Main Jail and Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center require drivers/technicians to have background clearance.
