General Project Description

The County of Sacramento is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide on-call environmental compliance consulting services. The selected consultant will assist the County's Waste Management and Recycling Department (DWMR) with identifying and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, engineering, and permitting requirements at the Kiefer Landfill, a Class III landfill located in Sacramento County. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, reviewing environmental compliance actions, assessing control systems related to landfill gas utilization, wellfield compliance, and Title V permit compliance, assisting with operational permit reviews and updates, drafting and submitting routine environmental compliance reports, and facilitating correspondence with environmental regulatory entities.
