General Project Description
This Request for Proposals (RFP) is issued by the San Bernardino City Unified School District (SBCUSD) to solicit qualified vendors for infrastructure equipment, cabling, and related services for E-Rate and Non-E-Rate funded projects. The project aims to transition the District's network infrastructure across approximately 85+ school and administrative sites to HPE/Aruba-based technology, supporting over 150,000 host machines. The scope includes two main sections: Network Electronics (Uninterruptible Power Supply, LAN/WAN Switches, Wireless LAN Equipment, Data Center Spine, Leaf, and WAN Core) and Cabling (Category 6A copper and OM4/OS2 fiber optic cabling). Deliverables involve equipment supply, installation, configuration, testing, and comprehensive documentation for network and wireless systems, including cloud-hosted management setup.
