General Project Description

The San Bernardino Municipal Water Department (SBMWD) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for primary sanitary sewer pipe cleaning services. This includes high-velocity sewer cleaning for large-diameter sewer mains (18 inches and greater), removal and disposal of debris, traffic control per Caltrans and local requirements, flow control and bypass pumping, and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) inspection for condition assessment. The contract term is for two years with the possibility of three one-year options, and may include related services such as sectional pipe lining and lateral seal installations based on inspection findings. Work is performed on an as-needed basis throughout the City of San Bernardino's sewer service area.
