San Bernardino Municipal Water Department is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Expansion of 2025/2026 On-Call Potable Water and/or Sanitary Sewer Repair Services, identified under Solicitation ID: 18791. General Project Description

The San Bernardino Municipal Water Department (SBMWD) is establishing an on-call list of pre-qualified contractors for emergency and small-scale planned/scheduled potable water and sanitary sewer repair services for the 2025/2026 period. The scope includes emergency response (within two hours, 24/7/365) to water distribution and sanitary sewer collection system failures (e.g., ruptured infrastructure, SSOs, sinkholes, pipe collapses, root damage), as well as planned/scheduled repairs and installations of water and sewer pipelines (Cast Iron Pipe, Ductile Iron Pipe, Cement Mortar Lined and Coated Steel, Vitrified Clay Pipe, Polyvinylchloride, Reinforced Concrete Pipe, ABS, steel), water services, fire hydrants, valves, and service relocations/abandonments, typically under 100 feet in length. Work involves excavation, material procurement and installation, traffic control, site remediation, backfill, and paving.
