San Bernardino City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, INSTALLATION OF RECTANGULAR RAPID FLASHING BEACONS (RRFB) FY25-29, identified under Solicitation ID: RFQ F-25-4060. Work is to be performed near 201b N E St 2nd floor, San Bernardino, CA 92401, USA in San Bernardino County.
General Project Description
The project's purpose is to enhance pedestrian safety throughout the City of San Bernardino by installing new Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs), replacing outdated or damaged units, and maintaining existing RRFB installations. The work requires furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals to complete RRFB installations and upgrades in accordance with Caltrans Standard Plans, California MUTCD, and City standards. Work includes removal and replacement of existing Telespar posts, removal and replacement of existing steel poles (ES-7C), new RRFB installation onto Telespar posts, and new RRFB installation onto ES-7C poles, including associated electrical, mounting, and signage components, and a minimum one-year warranty on materials and workmanship.
