General Project Description
This is a Request for Prequalification (RFQ) for contractors interested in bidding on future Best Value Job Order Contracts (JOC) for Healthcare General Building, "B" License projects in San Bernardino County. These projects will involve renovation, small to medium maintenance, and recurring work (excluding new construction) for healthcare facilities, specifically those under California Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) requirements, such as Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. The scope will include specialized healthcare renovations like medical imaging systems, occupied facility renovations with nurse call systems, medical gas systems, surgical suites, Interim Life Safety Measure (ILSM) compliance, specialty bed units (NICU, PICU, ICU), sterile processing departments (SPD), and hospital laboratory areas. Prequalification is mandatory for all licensed contractors intending to bid on these JOCs.
