General Project Description
San Bernardino County, on behalf of Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC), is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide ongoing routine maintenance and handle unexpected repairs for its Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVACR) systems. The contract period will be for a maximum of five years. The comprehensive scope includes quarterly and annual inspections, cleaning, lubrication, adjustments, and repairs for various HVACR components such as walk-in coolers, fan coil units, CRAC units, chillers, compressor/motor assemblies, motor starters, compressor oil systems, control panels, and evaporators. Contractors must also provide 24/7 availability for emergency repairs with a two-hour response time and furnish written estimates for repair costs, ensuring all labor is paid at prevailing wage rates and all parts/materials meet or exceed manufacturer's specifications.
