General Project Description

This project involves the demolition, reframing, electrical installation, and finish repairs for a door replacement at the Sunburst Park Community Center in Joshua Tree, CA. The scope includes removing and disposing of existing commercial doors, frames, and hardware, roughing out and reframing existing openings to new automatic door specifications, establishing new electrical connections for automatic doors and ADA push buttons, reconstructing an ADA compliant concrete landing, furnishing and installing new automatic door systems, and comprehensive interior and exterior finish repairs (including drywall, stucco, trim, priming, and painting) to match surrounding surfaces. The project also requires general site cleanup and reinstallation/relocation of salvaged signs and electrical components.
