General Project Description

The San Bernardino County Fire Protection District, Household Hazardous Waste Section, is seeking proposals from qualified Proposers to provide staffing, transportation, recycling, treatment, and/or disposal services for a full array of Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and Very Small Quantity Generator (VSQG) waste. This includes transportation and recycling of Universal Waste, as well as providing packaging materials and supplies. The HHW will be pre-collected and packaged by County staff prior to transfer to the contractor. Services include managing various waste streams through recycling, incineration, treatment/neutralization, and landfill disposal across multiple permanent and temporary HHW collection facilities operated by the County.
