General Project Description

The San Bernardino County Flood Control District is seeking professional land surveying services for the Hawker Crawford Channel (F02646) in Rancho Cucamonga. The project primarily involves constructing approximately 4,000 lineal feet of a 20’ W x 10’ H single reinforced concrete rectangular open channel, associated junction/transition structures, inlets/outlets, cutoff walls, channel fencing, access ramps, roadway reconstruction, and utility relocation to accommodate 100-year storm flows. This also includes a 10’ W x 10’ H double cell reinforced concrete box culvert beneath Cherry Avenue. The surveying work includes control, boundary, and topographic surveys, right-of-way base map preparation, and collection of specific topographical features like existing roadway centerline profiles, curbs and gutters, ramps, driveways, sidewalks, pavement markings, fences, traffic signal infrastructure, utilities (electrical, water, power poles, fire hydrants), drainage structures, manholes, catch basins, and elevations. All deliverables are required in AutoCAD Civil 3D and PDF format.
