General Project Description
This project involves road improvements on various roads including Old Waterman Canyon Road, Hillview Road, Forrest Lane, Dale Lane, Parkland Road, and Canyon Lane in the San Bernardino Area. The work generally consists of various road surface treatments, including mill and overlay, asphaltic emulsion chip seal, and polymer modified slurry seal type II, along with other appurtenant work. Key bid items also include supplemental work at force account, water pollution control, mobilization, clearing and grubbing, fire prevention, developing water supply, finishing roadway, traffic control system, quality control, portable changeable message signs, removing asphalt concrete dike, cold planing asphalt concrete pavement, placing asphalt concrete dike, slurry seal, polymer modified asphaltic emulsion chip seals, pavement markers (recessed retroreflective), and painting traffic stripes and pavement markings.
