General Project Description

This project involves the installation of a 550-foot cut-off wall, minor grading, and seepage repair, along with other appurtenant work. Key activities include earthwork (excavation approximately 12"x2'-3" wide for cut-off wall placement, 160 CY cut), concrete work using Type II Portland cement grout for seepage repair, and minor concrete structures. The scope also includes clearing and grubbing, roadway excavation, imported borrow, finishing roadway, traffic control measures (including portable changeable message signs), and manhole frame and cover adjustment. Potholing of utilities will be performed by a separate contractor. The project will adhere to Caltrans Standard Specifications and Plans dated 2023.
