General Project Description

This project involves the recoating and structural modification of tanks and pump stations within County Service Area 70 J in Oak Hills, California. The scope encompasses providing all necessary supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation. Key activities include modifying miscellaneous structural items to meet safety and health codes, comprehensive surface preparation (including abrasive blast cleaning to SSPC-SP10 for interior and exterior), handling hazardous (lead, zinc, chromium-based) and non-hazardous materials/waste, interior surface disinfection, and installing flexible sealants. The project also entails exterior tank painting with epoxy primer, intermediate, and urethane finish coats, as well as modifications to booster pump buildings, liquid level indicator systems, guardrailing, roof vents, manholes, and overflow pipes, to ensure fully protected and operational structures.
