General Project Description

This project involves the construction of Phase 1B Stages 4 and 5 liner system at the Victorville Sanitary Landfill. The scope generally includes clearing, grubbing, and demolition; potholing for waste limits, excavation, transport, and reconsolidation of refuse; miscellaneous grading, unclassified excavation, and unclassified fill; screening of 1-inch minus material for liner subgrade and protective soil cover; subgrade preparation for the composite liner system (base liner, slope liner, and bench liner); installation of composite liner system geosynthetics on the base, slopes, and benches; and construction of miscellaneous civil and drainage improvements. It also includes construction support tasks, stormwater compliance, construction survey, waste removal, and geoelectric leak location survey.
