General Project Description

This project involves the construction of the Grove Basin Outlet Storm Drain. The scope includes the installation of 72-inch, 84-inch, and 96-inch reinforced concrete pipe, along with the construction of junction structures and manhole facilities. The work also entails trench reconstruction and overlay, implementation and maintenance of temporary traffic control measures, roadway excavation, cold plane (milling) of asphalt concrete pavement, and removal of existing 66-inch RCP. Other work includes installing/removing grouted rock rip-rap, installing Class II base, asphalt pavement, concrete pavement, modified manholes, and pipe closures. Traffic-related work involves installing and removing thermoplastic traffic stripe and pavement markings, roadside signs, and surface-mounted channelizers, as well as installing various types of pavement markers. Environmental mitigation and compliance with a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) are required.
