General Project Description

The San Bernardino County Regional Parks Department is seeking proposals to conduct a Market Study of Mojave River Forks Regional Park and develop an implementable Master Plan. The project's primary focus is on identifying revenue-generating amenities, including recreation, improved playground and campground facilities, picnic and group event areas, trail and infrastructure improvements, equestrian and rodeo facilities, and entertainment amenities. The Market Study will involve vendor input, research into public and stakeholder interests, analysis of facility development and management, strategies to increase regional connectivity (including lodging), visitor usage and demographics, and cost/benefit analyses with short- and long-term timelines for implementation. The scope also includes extensive analysis of current park facilities, land use, environmental considerations, and development of marketing strategies and a comprehensive signage plan.
