General Project Description
This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks innovative solutions and competitive pricing for the provision of non-intrusive inspection (NII) technology and integrated systems at the new Otay Mesa East Land Port of Entry (OME LPOE) in the San Diego, California region. The project involves developing a new, high-technology border crossing for secure, predictable, and efficient processing of passenger and commercial vehicles using state-of-the-art security technologies and intelligent transportation management systems to alleviate supply chain bottlenecks. The scope of work includes furnishing and installing NII equipment, design services, radiation modeling, on-site installation coordination, systems integration, testing, commissioning, and training services, along with a 12-month warranty.

- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: On-site installation and coordination of NII systems, Specifications: Includes ancillary equipment (signage, traffic signals, vehicle gauges, QR).
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Full systems integration, testing, and commissioning of NII technology, ancillary equipment, NII Operations center, and servers, Specifications: Optimize cost and operational efficiencies, provide go-live support, facilitate CBP acceptance.
