General Project Description

This project involves comprehensive re-roofing and related work across multiple buildings at Hoover High School. The work includes patching and repairing damaged roofing materials at Buildings 300, 1000, and 1900. It also entails replacing wall-to-wall roofing materials at Buildings 400, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500, 1700, and 1800. Additionally, the project includes the replacement of one HVAC unit at Building 1300. Supporting scopes of work include selective demolition, removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials (ACM), lead-containing materials, and universal waste (UWR) and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB). General construction activities cover rough carpentry, sheathing, weather barriers, sheet metal flashing and trim, roof accessories, penetration firestopping, joint sealants, and various plumbing, HVAC, and electrical system installations such as piping, hangers, supports, raceways, and identification.
