General Project Description

This project involves the removal of approximately 2,975 square feet of existing tile roofing and installation of a new standing seam metal roof system at the North County Distribution 1/Rainbow 11 Flow Control Facility. The comprehensive scope includes existing roof deck condition assessment, final roof deck preparation, final seam metal roofing installation, final gutter installation, and final site restoration. Key tasks also include removing and replacing skylights/roof vents with pre-primed plywood, trimming and repairing gable end eaves and rafter tails to be flush with the structural deck, applying wood putty for paint preparation, installing new fascia, and applying primer and latex paint to newly installed wood. All work must adhere to the National Roofing Contractors Association Roofing and Waterproofing manual. Site cleanup, debris removal, and necessary repairs to existing structures, roadways, sidewalks, lawns, landscape, and irrigation are also required. As-needed deck repairs are also part of the scope.
