San Diego City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, JOB ORDER CONTRACT (JOC) TRENCH REPAIR AND STREET RESTORATION, identified under Solicitation ID: -. Work is to be performed near 1200 Third Ave, San Diego, CA 92101, USA in San Diego County.
General Project Description
This Job Order Contract (JOC) encompasses trench repair and street restoration services across the City of San Diego. The scope includes the removal of temporary cold-mix asphalt, preparing and compacting aggregate asphalt, saw-cutting, grading, emulsion application, and topping with heated asphalt concrete to ensure a flush street surface. Specific trench repair involves Type 1 base repairs per SDG-107 standards, utilizing 3/4" Type III Class B3 heated asphalt (8.0" thickness in alleys, 10" in residential/local/collectors, and 12" in major streets), including emergency repairs. Paving work covers asphalt and concrete placement, concrete street panel installation, crack/slurry sealing, pothole patching, sealcoating, resurfacing, street reconstruction, replacement/adjustment of traffic signal loops, city manholes, gate valve covers, survey monuments, concrete encasement, cold milling, pavement base repair, traffic sign removal/reinstallation, protective railing, sidewalk/curb/cross gutter/driveway replacement, street/sidewalk sweeping, tree trimming/root pruning/removal, traffic striping and markings/legends, community liaison services, encroachment permits, storm drain inlet protection, and sediment control. All work will be performed on a task order basis.
