General Project Description
The County of San Diego, Department of Parks and Recreation, is seeking a contractor for the one-time service of removing and disposing of trash and general debris from the Disney Crossing and Smugglers Gulch Trash Booms in the greater Tijuana River Valley area. The project involves cleanup of approximately 50 linear feet (LF) north to south and 40 LF from bank to bank (east to west) at both the Disney Crossing culvert and Smugglers Gulch Trash Booms, located south of Monument Road. This effort aims to clean up the area, reduce potential for additional trash spreading downstream, and facilitate free water flow to the Pacific Ocean, with completion targeted by January 15, 2026.
