General Project Description
The County of San Diego is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide comprehensive landscaping services across five designated Lots/Regions (North, Central, South, East, North Inland) at various County facilities. The scope of work includes routine and periodic maintenance of trees, shrubs, ground covers, and lawns, including irrigation and drainage system upkeep, soil erosion and pest/disease control, litter and weed removal, and pruning/trimming to specific clearance standards. The project also requires semi-annual color replacement plantings and adherence to stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs). Contractors are expected to supply all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and County standards, focusing on sustainability and efficiency. The contract has an initial one-year term with four one-year options.
