General Project Description
The County of San Diego, Department of General Services, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide comprehensive landscaping services across various County facilities, divided into five Lots/Regions (North, Central, South, East, North Inland). The scope includes routine and as-needed care for trees, shrubs, ground covers, and lawns, maintenance and repair of irrigation and drainage systems, soil erosion control, insect and disease management, and general litter removal. The contractor will be responsible for operations such as mowing, edging, mulching, fertilization, pruning (including specialized tree service by licensed professionals), plant replacement, and implementing stormwater Best Management Practices. The aim is to ensure the continuous health, aesthetic appeal, and drought tolerance of the County's landscapes while complying with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
