San Diego County is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, BRICK SURFACING AND STORM DRAIN REPAIRS, identified under Solicitation ID: RFQ 12941. Work is to be performed near 5500 Overland Ave, San Diego, CA 92123, USA in San Diego County.
General Project Description
This project involves the repair of uplifted brick surfacing and sunken storm drains within the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible picnic area at Miracle Field in San Dieguito County Park. The scope includes the removal of existing brick pavers, careful preservation of these pavers, removal of Ficus tree roots from the subbase material, restoration of the subbase, and reinstallation of brick surfacing. The repaired brick surfacing and storm drain must achieve a final finish elevation with a 2% or less cross slope to ensure ADA compliance and maneuverability across approximately 150 square feet. An additive alternative for root barrier installation is also specified.
