San Diego County is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, AS-NEEDED ELECTRICAL SERVICES AND REPAIR, identified under Solicitation ID: 12815. Work is to be performed near 5500 Overland Ave, San Diego, CA 92123, USA in San Diego County.
General Project Description
The County of San Diego's Department of General Services is seeking quotes from firms to provide as-needed electrical services and repairs at various County locations. This involves supplying all labor, staffing, supervision, transportation, materials, supplies, parts, tools, and equipment for servicing electrical systems ranging from 120VAC to 2KV. Scope of work includes recording voltage and amperage, checking load balances, calibrating main breakers (with documentation), verifying operation of switchgear breakers, tightening electrical connections, inspecting for damages/corrosion, checking for overheating/arching using IR camera, ensuring code-compliant grounding/bonding, inspecting transformers, and checking Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) functionality. All work must comply with CAL-NEC and NFPA 70e standards. Contractors are responsible for waste removal and final site cleanup. Work is assigned on an as-needed basis through individual Task Orders, each limited to $50,000.
