General Project Description

The County of San Diego is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from firms to provide as-needed civil engineering services to the Project Management Division of the General Services Department. The services will support various project phases, including master planning, pre-construction, design, construction, commissioning, and closeout. The scope of work encompasses site and project development reviews, survey preparations, stormwater grading and runoff management planning, technical study and report preparations, and regulatory permit documentation. Specific civil engineering services include survey and topographic design, site and/or facility assessments, feasibility and planning studies, landscape design, Geographic Information System (GIS) services, transportation studies (traffic impact analysis), stormwater management/design, water resources management/design, sanitary sewer management/design, and civil site design for various County facilities such as court support, sheriff substations, medical facilities, general office buildings, libraries, educational facilities, animal facilities, parking lots, community centers, parks, administrative campuses, historic buildings, and other non-building structures.
